             Nearly 400 species of birds have been recorded at Manas including 22 threatened species notable ones include Bengal Florican, Great, Wreathed, and Rufous-necked Hornbills, Black-breasted Parrot Bill, Jerdon’s Babbler, Swamp Francolin, Fishing and Serpent Eagles, Minivet, White-bellied Heron, King Vulture, Slender-billed Vulture, etc.
